Kip Tutoring was established in June of 2005 with a unique vision and a personalized approach to children’s education.  We understand that oftentimes the classroom isn’t enough.  Children need extra guidance, additional practice and new learning strategies.   We take the time to find out about you and your child so that we can formulate the best learning plan possible to obtain a successful outcome.  Serving Toronto, all of the GTA and surrounding areas, Kip Tutoring is committed to giving the after-school education your child deserves.

One-on-One Tutoring in Your Home

We provide your child with individual attention.  With our one-on-one tutoring strategy, we are able to properly assess your child’s learning behaviour, give them the focused teaching they need, and personalize our lessons to achieve optimal results.  You can feel comfortable knowing that your child is getting the most out of our services with their very own dedicated tutor. If you think tutoring in groups would be a better option for you at this time, we offer this method as well.  We’ll match your child with other children who have similar needs and academic goals.  One of our qualified tutors will conduct full group sessions in the subjects of your choice at a common place that is convenient for everyone.  To ensure the productivity of each learning session, we assign a maximum of 3 students per tutor.  

 

The Ontario Curriculum

Kip Tutoring makes a point of staying current with the Ontario School Curriculum so that no matter what subject your child needs help in, we are familiar with the lesson plans and classroom teachings.  From Kindergarten right through to Grade 12, Kip tutors are well adept with the provincial syllabus and will be able to provide the focused learning assistance your child needs.

With the demands of full-time work, busy schedules and extracurricular activities, we know what a hassle it can be to drive your child to yet another after-school obligation.  For your ultimate convenience, Kip provides one-on-one tutoring sessions right in the comfort of your own home.  Leave the driving and travelling up to us! 

If you prefer a public setting, we are happy to tutor your child at your local public library or even at their school.  Whatever your requests may be, Kip Tutoring is committed to providing you with the service you’re looking for.

Personalized Learning Programs

At Kip we operate on the principal that every child is different when it comes to learning capabilities, strengths, weaknesses, information retention, and motivation.  Before one of our tutors is assigned to your child, we will conduct an in-home assessment in which we will identify key personality traits, goals, preferences and learning styles to help us make the perfect match. 

Once a solid connection has been made, session by session your tutor will begin learning more about your child and making practical plans for future lessons.  Your child’s learning program will be unique and custom tailored to address their individual needs as well as your demands as a parent.
